About The Brighton Rox Development
The Brighton Rox project consisted of 70 luxury private residences, including three houses and an array of flats with duplex apartments overlooking a beautifully landscaped central garden. Situated on the edge of the North Laine quarter, this bespoke residential development draws inspiration from the 1930s Astoria cinema that once stood in its place.
The development combines style, comfort and functionality, offering residents a perfect balance between work and life. Amenities include a hotel-style concierge, co-working spaces, a communal gym, gardens, a yoga area and even a private cinema.
Our Role In The Project
At Sackville Construction Ltd, our contribution to the Brighton Rox development focused exclusively on delivering expert brickwork services. This included:
- Constructing the full-height brick piers that frame the facade and lend the building its distinct architectural character.
- Creating the intricate brick detailing for panelled balconies, seamlessly integrating with the building's art deco design elements.
- Executing high-precision brickwork for both internal and external features, ensuring the development’s aesthetic and structural integrity.

Our work on this project was recognised for its craftsmanship, earning us a nomination for the Brickwork Association's "Craftsmen of the Year" award in 2023.
