Sackville Construction Ltd completed all brickwork and bricklaying services for Paddock View, a prestigious luxury development in Tadworth, Surrey, built by Elivia Homes. 

The development of four bespoke barn-style homes received the Regional Highly Commended Award at the 2025 LABC Building Excellence Awards, recognising projects that set new benchmarks for design, quality, and technical innovation.

The Paddock View Development

Paddock View comprises four individually designed detached homes on a peaceful road just off Babylon Lane in Lower Kingswood, Tadworth. The development consisted of two four-bedroom and two five-bedroom homes, each featuring barn-style architecture that complemented the rural setting whilst incorporating contemporary design elements.

Elivia Homes' vision focused on creating homes of distinction, paying attention to every detail. The development also represented an important step forward in low-carbon design, featuring timber frame construction and air source heat pump technology.

Sackville Construction's Brickwork Brief

As the specialist brickwork contractor for Paddock View, Sackville Construction Ltd was responsible for all external brickwork across the four luxury homes, providing the distinctive appearance that would define the development's character.

The project required brickwork that would complement the barn-style architectural design whilst meeting modern building standards and integrating with the timber frame construction method. 

Barn-Style Architecture & Timber Frame Integration

The external brick skin was constructed to work with the timber frame structure, with appropriate wall ties connecting the two elements. Our bricklayers worked to precise tolerances, providing the cavity dimensions required for insulation whilst maintaining the aesthetic requirements of the barn-style design.

Meeting Programme Deadlines
